BRANDING AND CAMPAIGN FOR A NETFLIX ORIGINAL
We had the opportunity to develop the strategy, visual identity, and campaign of Austria's first Netflix Original about FREUD.
In the series, a young Sigmund Freud (30 years of age). He's a beginning doctor, and gets in the midst of murders and disappereances. He figures he has to get in the "inside" of the people, the unconscious, to solve these murders.
We found inspiration through [the real] Sigmund Freud's writings, habits, and traits.
Made together with Thomas Rendel and Nathalie Amegaschie (copywriter), Frederik Hofmann (creative direction) & Volker Jensen (account director).
This campaign won Silver at the ADC Germany.
From screen, to screenprint, to scanner: to ensure we got the right 1880's grunge texture, we had to make it analogue.
For the type treatment, we wanted to hint to the logotype. Consistent usage was key.
